Were onto the next month of the fall line-up; gaming’s most expensive season! Although the autumn season traditionally gifts us with a boat load of shooters, there is some variety to look forward to. Featuring post apocalyptic worlds, Jeremy Clarkson and one mentally disturbed man dressed up as a dominatrix bat, October promises to be an exciting if not interesting month.
Please note that this is an opinionated piece.
Batman: Arkham City

Genre: Action
Published by: Warner Bros. Interactive
Developed by: Rocksteady Studios
Release Date: 20/10/2011
Arkham Asylum almost killed me and I don’t mean that figuratively. I became a man obsessed, much like Bruce Wayne although I was not fueled by a thirst for justice, I was fueled by a need to solve every single Riddler Challenge in the Asylum (I was taken to one for a brief stay after completion)
Batman: Arkham City threatens to do the same. The awesome gameplay that made Arkham Asylum so… awesome, returns with a vengeance. New weapons, New Gadgets, new villains and new opportunities to string together impossible combos that only a rich billionaire could dream off. Did I mention the massive city you can Grapple and Zip-line your way across? Or the promise of more monstrous Riddler challenges to solve? Oh, and let’s not forget the voice acting; Mark “Skywalker” Hamil as the Joker and Kevin Conroy as the Dark Knight? Sweet!
Get ready to put Detective Mode on one more time!
