Mark list reminisces about his musical affair with Jet Set Radio’s soundtrack!

Against all odds our cherished Dreamcasts’ souls still dwell within the hard-drives of our seventh generation consoles. Space Channel 5 Part 2 grooved its way back, SEGA Bass Fishing refused to sink and even Sonic Adventure shrugged off the dated soil. But more importantly Jet Set Radio is back!
Even better news (if somewhat rather old now) is that we can now infinite grind, tag and bop ourselves happy all over again to 28 out of the 30 original tunes! Okay so we lost Deavid Soul‘s “Yappie Feet” and O. B. One‘s “Many Styles” in the process, but otherwise it’s a sterling revitalised effort on Sega‘s behalf!
You’ve probably gathered by now that this cel-shaded Dreamcast highlight I hold very dear and more so its crackin’ soundtrack. So I’ve decided to celebrate its return with a list (-braces for deep sighs-). This very list includes (with the courtesy of TheMythofRenegade) ten tracks from Jet Set Radio that plunge me deep into a bucket of nostalgia! However, let’s get one thing straight first, I would of loved to of included more. But this article just couldn’t of been classed as a ‘Ten Top Tunes from Jet Set Radio’ list now could it?
So here, in no particular order are some of my favourites…
“Let Mom Sleep” by Hideki Naganuma
“On the Bowl (A.Fargus Remix)” by Deavid Soul
“Mischievous Boy” by Castle Logical
“Funky Radio” by B.B. Rights
“Humming the Bassline” by Hideki Naganuma
“Super Brothers” by Guitar Vader
“Up-Set Attack” by Deavid Soul
“Everybody Jump Around” by Richard Jacques
“Electric Tooth Brush” by Toronto
“Sweet Soul Brother” by Hideki Naganuma
