3. World of Goo

Our Top 5 most played Smart Phone Games

A fascinating game where small blobs of goo become the foundations of great structures.

A world of Goo is a fantastic puzzler, the object of which is to drag and drop small blobs of gloo to create structures ranging from bridges to towers, in order to reach objectives. The touch screen controls are fantastically simple and intuitive making it a great little game to play on a rainy day waiting for the tray. Visually the game is very interesting, and different from the standard fare of mobile game that you would expect. Levels can range from innocently simple to devilishly difficult, allowing you the freedom to create any structure you wish in order to reach the goal and capture blobs of Goo. It also requires you to think about how many blobs you use, as once used in a structure you cannot capture them, the main goal being use as little possible goo in order to reach the goal. The price of this game is fairly cheap, and it’s well worth the couple of quid you’ll spend on it.
